Let's Put on the Full Armour of God 1 {The World of Evil Spirit 2}

Bible passage: Ephesians 6:10-17
“10. Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. 11. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. 12. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand."

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

Beginning last week, I have been preaching on ‘The World of Evil Spirits.’ Last time, I spoke about Lucifer, who rebelled against God, and the work she is doing. Since Lucifer is the head of the ‘World of Evil Spirits,’ she personally engages in matters that can have a significant evil influence on the world. However, when it comes to minor or small-scale acts of evil, she remains hidden, craftily controlling her subordinates from behind the scenes. A few years ago, how much did humanity suffer because of COVID-19, which spread globally?

That, too, was instigated by Lucifer, who incited those with wicked hearts in this world. Last Sunday, I mentioned that before Lucifer betrayed God, she was an archangel directly under God the Father. She was particularly in charge of music, bringing joy to God. To further elaborate on this, the Bible mentions three archangels, including Lucifer. The first is Archangel ‘Gabriel,’ who can be considered the ‘Minister of Administration.’ The second is Archangel ‘Michael,’ who is the ‘Commander of the Army’ that wages war against the forces of darkness.

And the third is Lucifer. However, according to the ‘Genesis Lectures’ preached by His Emeritus Senior Pastor, who received divine revelation through countless prayers and fasting, there are far more archangels in heaven than just these three. For example, in heaven, there is an archangel in charge of finances, an archangel responsible for construction, an archangel who oversees banquets, and many other archangels assigned to various roles. The archangel responsible for finances presents the prayers of believers who seek blessings in wealth and business before God. He then receives God’s response and delivers financial blessings accordingly.

That is why, when our church needs to construct a sanctuary, which requires a significant budget, I pray to God, saying, “Father God, please mobilize the financial archangel so that we do not lack the funds needed for construction.” Apart from these general archangels, there are also archangels who serve God the Trinity, just as Lucifer once did. If we were to compare this to an earthly system, these archangels who serve God the Trinity function as chief secretaries to God. ‘Lucifer’ was the archangel serving God the Father, ‘Lucia’ was the archangel serving Jesus Christ, the Son of God, and ‘Luciel’ was the archangel serving the Holy Spirit.

Among these chief secretaries, Lucifer, who was originally the highest-ranking, became proud and ultimately rebelled against God. God created the spiritual realm before creating the heavens and the earth, and He made two types of beings. One type was ‘angels,’ who take on human-like forms and handle administrative duties. The other type was ‘cherubim,’ who take on animal-like forms and serve as guardians. Lucifer, having served as God the Father’s chief secretary, she imitated what she had observed while near God the Father and established her own ‘World of Evil Spirits.’ In this realm, she placed herself at the center and organized various evil beings, including dragons, their servants, Satan, devils, demons, and evil spirits, all working together to oppose God.

Even within the ‘World of Evil Spirits,’ there is a strict hierarchy and order. The highest rank belongs to Lucifer, followed by the dragon. Lucifer gives orders to Satan and the Dragons, who, in turn, command evil spirits to act. To help you better understand, I will now display a chart comparing the ‘World of God’s Spirits’ and the ‘World of Evil Spirits’ that Lucifer has imitated. Let us all look at the screen together.

Due to Lucifer’s rebellion, the spiritual realm was divided into the ‘World of Light’ (God’s side) and the ‘World of Darkness’ (Lucifer’s side). On the first day of creation, God said, “Let there be light,” and at that moment, the World of Light and the World of Darkness were separated. Genesis 1:4 says, “God saw that the light was good; and God separated the light from the darkness.” On the second day of creation, God allowed the ‘World of Darkness’ to exist on the opposite side of Eden within the ‘Second Heaven.’ Thus, Lucifer and the fallen cherubim, including the dragon and its messengers, along with some fallen angels, were released from the abyss and formed the ‘World of Evil Spirits’ in the ‘Second Heaven.’ There, they seized power over the air and began their evil activities. Today, we will take a closer look at the identity and role of the dragon and the dragon’s servants, who belong to the ‘World of Evil Spirits’ that God permitted for human cultivation, and how they influence human cultivation.

1. Dragons that betrayed by following Lucifer.

The Bible mentions that the dragons who betrayed God were not singular but plural. Psalm 74:13 (KJV) says, “You divided the sea by Your strength; You broke the heads of the dragons in the waters.” When His Emeritus Senior Pastor preached about the dragons, he explained that there was not just one fallen dragon, but four. Therefore, it would be good to revisit the diagram of the ‘World of Evil Spirits’ that I showed earlier. If you look at it, in the ‘World of the Spirits of Light’ governed by God, you can see the ‘four living creatures,’ right? In contrast, the ‘World of Evil Spirits’ has four dragons. God already knew that the dragons would eventually rebel by following Lucifer, so He created the ‘four living creatures’ in advance to counter these four dragons.

Thus, the dragons were cast out by God and were given high-ranking authority in the World of Evil Spirits, second only to Lucifer. Ephesians 6:12 says, “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.” Here, ‘the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms’ refer to the four dragons. Lucifer has given the dragons actual authority, allowing them to seize control of the air and command their subordinates to hinder the Kingdom of God throughout the process of human cultivation. Ephesians 2:2 says, “In which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience.”

These dragons, holding power in the air, are the evil spirits that control the Second Heaven, the battleground between the spirits of light and the spirits of darkness. Dragons are not mythical creatures but real spiritual beings. They are invisible to the naked eye but can be seen through visions. According to dictionary definitions, a dragon is described as a giant reptilian creature with a snake-like body covered in scales, four legs, antlers like a deer, ears like an ox, and eyes similar to those of a demon. It is said to dwell in deep lakes or the sea but can freely fly in the sky, bringing storms and manipulating the weather. Although this is a human description, it is remarkably accurate. However, the appearance of the dragon described here is after it was cursed and transformed into a ferocious being following its rebellion against God with Lucifer.

In truth, before its betrayal, the dragon was dearly loved by God. Through visions in prayer, His Emeritus Senior Pastor was able to see the dragon’s original form in detail. The dragon used to surround the throne of God. It had a large and long body, yet it was extremely beautiful. It possessed luxurious, long, and soft feathers adorned with gold and jewels. It was bold, powerful, majestic, and incredibly magnificent in appearance. A dragon, created magnificently and beautifully with feathers radiating five-colored light, possessed power and authority.

When Lucifer, the archangel in charge of praise, worshipped before God and brought Him joy through music, the dragon’s ears were opened, allowing it to hear. The dragon operates through its servants, commands demons through its servants, or works through the actions of Satan and the devil. For example, in Genesis Chapter 3, there is a scene where the serpent tempts Eve to eat the forbidden fruit that God had prohibited. Genesis 3:1 says, “Now the serpent was more crafty than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, “Indeed, has God said, ‘You shall not eat from any tree of the garden’?”” The serpent mentioned here is not an earthly serpent but a serpent from the Second Heaven.

Although the dragon itself was invisible, it incited the serpent to appear before Eve and tempt her. Thus, Revelation 20:2 states, “And he laid hold of the dragon, the serpent of old, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years;” The dragon's servants, who hold power over the air under the dragon’s command, are in motion. These servants then give orders to demons, the lowest-ranking entities operating on earth, and mobilize them accordingly. Other biblical passages about dragons are as follows: Psalm 74:13 (KJV) ~ “You divided the sea by Your strength; You broke the heads of the dragons in the waters.” Isaiah 27:1 ~ “In that day the LORD will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent, With His fierce and great and mighty sword, Even Leviathan the twisted serpent; And He will kill the dragon who lives in the sea.” From these verses, we can see that the dragon is associated with the sea.

This is why we see rituals like the Dragon King Festival, where the dragon influences Satan, and Satan, in turn, governs people of the flesh, leading them to worship the dragon. Before its rebellion, the dragon was always near God’s throne and was a being deeply loved by God, which gives us an idea of its power and authority. Even today, in a national organization, those closest to the head of state, such as the prime ministers or Chiefs of staff, wield significant real power and influence. If they act righteously, the nation enjoys peace. However, if they pursue personal gain through corruption and evil, the nation falls into dictatorship, and its people suffer.

Some of you might wonder, “If Lucifer and the dragons were cultivated like humans, wouldn’t they also become good Lucifer and good dragons?” But that is not the case. The sin they committed is an unforgivable sin, meaning there is absolutely no possibility for them to enter a stage where they could be forgiven. The Bible clearly records what constitutes an unforgivable sin. As stated in Matthew 12:31, knowingly blaspheming, slandering, or opposing the work of the Holy Spirit is a sin that cannot be forgiven. It says, “Therefore I say to you, any sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven people, but blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven.” Additionally, as written in Hebrews 10:26, deliberately committing sin results in no further sacrifice for sins. It says, “If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left.”

As stated in Hebrews 6:4-6, those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, and who have experienced the goodness of God’s word and the powers of the coming age, but then fall away, are like those who crucify Jesus again and expose Him to public disgrace. These three sins are ‘unforgivable sins’ because no matter how much one tries to repent, the grace of repentance does not come upon them. This is the same sin that Lucifer and the dragons, the heads of evil, have committed. Lucifer and the dragons were closer to God than anyone else. As spiritual beings, they knew God clearly.

More than anyone, they had fully experienced God’s infinite love and had received His blessings, being created as glorious and beautiful beings. Yet, despite having received everything from God, they abandoned His grace, became proud, and rebelled, trying to make themselves equal to God. Their sin was immeasurably great. Then, what are the actual works of the dragons, which have taken on the thoughts and minds of Lucifer and now rule over the works of darkness? The dragon seizes the heads of vile and brutal crime organizations, controlling them to commit violence, murder, and human trafficking.

Sometimes, the head of a nationwide criminal organization may claim to repent and believe in Jesus due to some incident. However, like Judas Iscariot, true repentance does not happen. They are already so deeply immersed in sin and evil that they have crossed the boundary set by God and passed the point where forgiveness is possible. While the American and Italian mafias, which once dominated an era, have declined due to the recent arrests of their leaders, other criminal organizations such as the Chinese triads, Japanese Yakuza, and Vietnamese street gangs are rapidly rising, with the U.S. as their main battleground. These organized crime syndicates engage in prostitution, drug trafficking, smuggling, gambling, nightclub operations, contract killings, violence, human trafficking, and armed robbery. Ultimately, their goal is to lure people into sin, corrupt them, destroy families, and devastate humanity. They are obsessed with destruction.

They soak the world in violence and bloodshed. If you look at the leaders of these violent organizations, most of them have tattoos, often featuring dragons. When we see the horrific acts of violence, kidnappings, human trafficking, and murders these organizations commit, we wonder, “How can people do such terrible evil?” However, the one instigating them - the dragon - is not a human but a fallen cherub, a beast, which is why such evil is possible. The dragon also manipulates drug trafficking organizations. Even though they know that selling, buying, and using drugs will ultimately lead them to ruin, they continue to drag others into the world of drugs, ruining countless lives. A person’s natural conscience would never allow them to do such things - only a beast like the dragon, operating behind the scenes, can instigate and control them.

The dragon also works in religion. It deceives people to prevent them from finding the true God and leads them to oppose Christianity. In China and India, dragons are worshiped as mysterious deities in folk religions. In Buddhism, dragons are revered as one of the Four Heavenly Kings. Even in Korea, we see people bowing before statues of Buddha made from gold, silver, bronze, wood, or stone. If you visit Buddhist temples, you can easily find dragon images painted or carved in various places.

This is because these temples are places held captive by the dragon. The dragon also deceives believers, leading them to heresy or to cult leaders who falsely claim to act on God’s behalf. Loving to be worshiped, the dragon has long embedded its presence into human culture. Most people who do not know God believe that dragons bring good fortune and consider them lucky creatures. Some even say that having a dream of a dragon will bring good things. However, through the Word of God, we must recognize what dragons truly are and remain vigilant against their deception. What will be the final fate of the dragon? As stated in Revelation 20:2-3, no evil spirits, including the dragon, will be allowed in the Millennial Kingdom, a time of peace.

Before the Millennial Kingdom begins, the dragon and the evil spirits will be cast into the bottomless pit. It says, “And he laid hold of the dragon, the serpent of old, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; and he threw him into the abyss, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he would not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were completed; after these things he must be released for a short time.” Later, in Revelation 20:7-10, when the Millennial Kingdom is nearing its end, Satan will be released from the bottomless pit to deceive the saints once more. At that time, fire will come down from heaven, and those who are deceived will be burned in judgment and perish. Satan, the devil, Lucifer, the dragon, and the false prophet will all be thrown into the bottomless pit for eternity. Revelation 20:10 says, “And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.”

2. Next, let us learn about the cherubim with animal forms - the servants of the dragon - who followed the dragons and took part in Lucifer’s rebellion.

Revelation 12:7 says, “And there was war in heaven, Michael and his angels waging war with the dragon. The dragon and his angels waged war.” Here, the phrase “the dragon and his angels” appears - these angels are the ones we are referring to. Until the full-scale beginning of human cultivation, the dragon’s servants were, like Lucifer and the dragons, imprisoned in the deep and dark abyss. When human cultivation officially began, God permitted them to act as subordinates to the dragons, seizing power over the air.

They were also given the authority to punish and torture souls who failed to attain salvation and fell into the lower hell, as well as the power to govern hell itself. The dragon’s servants became the loyal subordinates of the dragons, assisting them in carrying out the works of darkness. For those with spiritual eyes open, these servants of the dragon do not appear as angels but rather as ugly and horrible beast-like creatures. Originally, they were cherubim, but after rebelling against God, they were cursed and transformed into monstrous beasts. In the Bible, we see references to abominable beasts, and these creatures are the dragon’s servants - fallen cherubim who betrayed God alongside Lucifer and the dragons. In the Old Testament, particularly in Leviticus, God clearly distinguishes between clean animals (which may be eaten) and unclean animals (which should not be eaten).

The clean animals symbolize cherubim who did not follow the dragons. The unclean animals resemble the fallen cherubim who participated in the rebellion, and because of this, God calls them “detestable” and forbids people from eating them. Because of their connection to the fallen cherubim that opposed God, unclean animals possess evil tendencies and toxins. When people consume such animals, these evil traits and toxins accumulate in the bloodstream. This is why God forbade their consumption.

For example, in traditional medicine, those undergoing treatment are advised to avoid pork, as eating it can worsen wounds, causing them to fester and take longer to heal. Since unclean animals accumulate toxins in the body, God commanded us NOT to eat them. Leviticus 11:1-4 says, [1] The LORD spoke again to Moses and to Aaron, saying to them, [2] “Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, ‘These are the creatures which you may eat from all the animals that are on the earth. [3] Whatever divides a hoof, thus making split hoofs, and chews the cud, among the animals, that you may eat. [4] Nevertheless, you are not to eat of these, among those which chew the cud, or among those which divide the hoof: the camel, for though it chews cud, it does not divide the hoof, it is unclean to you.

Furthermore, throughout Leviticus 11:47, God lists many clean and unclean animals, distinguishing between those that may be eaten and those that should not be eaten. Those with spiritual sight can witness that during divine healing, various types of creatures leave the bodies of the sick. These creatures are the dragon’s servants - the abominable unclean beasts mentioned in the Bible. Additionally, certain animals frequently appear in negative biblical metaphors. Matthew 7:6 says, “Do not give dogs what is holy; do not throw your pearls to pigs. If you do, they may trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you to pieces.” Here, dogs and pigs represent unclean animals influenced by the dragon’s servants.

They hold authority over the air alongside the dragon and work to corrupt humans, leading them into sin. Moreover, just as some people are influenced by the dragon, others fall under the control of the dragon’s servants - becoming like beasts themselves. These people, influenced by the dragon’s servants, commit acts so evil that they transcend human morality, engaging in inhumane, beast-like behavior. The dragon, working through Satan, creates Satan’s synagogues (organizations devoted to evil). Those within these groups eventually fall under demonic influence, leading them to commit evil acts. A person who commits Satan’s work essentially becomes a messenger or a servant of the dragon. These servants or messengers work to ensnare and control people, leading them to act like beasts. There are people in this world who commit acts as vile as those of unclean animals, engaging in shocking sins that go far beyond what normal humans would do.

These individuals fall under Satan’s influence, then come under demonic control, and finally commit the most disgusting and vile forms of evil, similar to the behavior of beasts. When this demonic influence grows beyond a certain threshold, in some cases, a demon directly enters the person and takes control. In other cases, the person is manipulated by the dragon’s servants. Let’s examine Judas Iscariot as an example. Judas Iscariot was influenced by Satan, formed a synagogue of Satan, and committed Satan’s work. Had he not killed himself, he might have become possessed by a demon. He conspired with those seeking to kill Jesus, making him part of Satan’s synagogue.

He led the group of soldiers sent by the chief priests and elders to arrest Jesus, making him a direct agent of Satan’s work. Because of this beast-like betrayal, he became a slave to the dragon’s servants. Not only are there already many servants of the dragon in the world, but they also continue to recruit and influence more people, increasing the number of those who act as beasts under their control. For example, human trafficking is an act similar to that of beasts. How wicked is it to kidnap and sell people just to make money? It is truly an unimaginable evil. A human life is more precious than the whole world, yet traffickers treat people as mere commodities, buying and selling them at will. This is the vilest of evils. Moreover, if someone becomes a leader in human trafficking, dragging others into the crime and making them criminals as well, they are acting just like the dragon’s servants - in other words, they are behaving like beasts. Different types of beasts have different natures.

For example, some beasts are violent, some are deceitful, some are filthy, some are treacherous, and some are vile and sexually immoral. When a person comes under the influence of the dragon’s servants, they begin to exhibit the traits of the beast associated with that particular group. They may become violent, deceitful, filthy, treacherous, or sexually immoral - all characteristics of beasts. Thus, referring to the dragon and its servants as “beasts” signifies that they do not think rationally like humans.

Instead, they act according to their own desires, listen only when forced into submission, cannot walk upright like humans, move on all fours, live in filth, and are entirely different beings from humans. The dragon’s servants, who bear the form of abominable beasts, hold power over the air alongside the dragon. They inflict sickness upon people, incite violence, human trafficking, and sexual corruption, and fill the world with sin. Ultimately, their goal is to corrupt and destroy the world. Conclusion So what must we, as God’s children, do? There exists an evil force that seeks to destroy God’s children, His church, and those who desire to live in gratitude, joy, and blessings through the great love of God, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the help of the Holy Spirit. Lucifer, the dragons, their messengers, Satan, the devil, and demons - these traitors who rejected the loving God who gave His Son Jesus as a sacrificial offering on the cross - constantly attack us with deceitful schemes.

They try to steal our faith, afflict our bodies with sickness, tempt us into sin, rob us of joy, peace, and happiness, distort the truth, and destroy the church. In such a situation, what must we do? Let us read today's scripture from verse 12 once again: [12] For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. [13] Therefore, put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm. [14] Stand firm therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, [15] and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; [16] in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. [17] And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

The world forces of darkness and spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms refer specifically to the four dragons and, in a broader sense, include Lucifer, the dragons, their servants, Satan, and the devil. That is why God tells us in the next verse, verse 13, “Therefore, put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.” Then, from verse 14, He clearly explains the full armor of God that we must put on. For every true Christian, putting on this spiritual armor is essential to defeating the rulers of darkness and the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Beloved believers, those of you attending this worship today - are you wearing the full armor of God? If you are, say a loud ‘Amen!’ Hmm…. that wasn’t loud enough! Did you stop halfway? Let’s try again. Are you wearing the full armor of God? In today's passage, verses 14-17, God presents six pieces of the full armor of God and commands us to wear them. Why must we wear this armor?

The answer is given in verse 13, which says, “Therefore, put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.” Now, as I name the six pieces of the full armor of God, answer loudly with ‘Amen!’ so that every single person here may fully put on the whole armor today. First, as stated in verse 14, if you desire to wear “the belt of truth,” say a loud “Amen!” Second, as stated in the same verse, if you desire to wear “the breastplate of righteousness,” say a loud “Amen!” Third, as stated in verse 15, if you desire to wear “the shoes of the gospel of peace,” say a loud “Amen!” Fourth, as stated in verse 16, if you desire to take up “the shield of faith to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one,” say a loud “Amen!”

Fifth, as stated in verse 17, if you desire to wear “the helmet of salvation,” say a loud “Amen!” Sixth, as stated in the same verse, if you desire to hold “the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God,” say a loud “Amen!” Thank you for your resounding ‘Amen’! Right now, the enemy, the devil, has fled far away, terrified by the voices of the Nairobi Manmin Church believers shouting ‘Amen!’ Now that we have put on the full armor of God, let us be clothed in God’s power, the love of our Lord, and the ever-present strength of the Holy Spirit.

Let us crush the schemes of the dragon, its servants, and the devil, through the gospel of holiness, the power of our shepherd, and prayer as fierce as fire. Let us wear the full armor of God, receive blessings, and be empowered. Let us ignite our church with the fire of prayer, like the Mark’s Upper Room, and build a new sanctuary to save the souls of Kenya and, ultimately, the souls of all Africa. May all of you bring joy to God and welcome our returning Bridegroom, Jesus Christ, with great rejoicing. In the name of the Lord, I bless you all. - END -
