Living According to God's Will in the Midst of Chaos 2
Bible passage: Acts 21:1-14
“ 12. When we heard this, we and the people there pleaded with Paul not to go up to Jerusalem. 13. Then Paul answered, "Why are you weeping and breaking my heart? I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus." 14. When he would not be dissuaded, we gave up and said, "The Lord's will be done. "
Sometimes we feel confused because we don't know what God's will is. However, there is no reason why God should not clearly communicate His will to His children.
God is not a God who makes our path ambiguous so that we do not know which path is the right one. Because God the Holy Spirit has already come into our hearts, God has a perfect plan for each and every one of you here, and He is leading you according to that plan. Nevertheless, we sometimes find it difficult to discern God's will and are confused because we do not know clearly what God wants.
Today's scripture tells the story of Apostle Paul's four missionary journeys throughout his life. This happened when he was returning to Jerusalem after completing his third missionary journey before being taken to Rome as a prisoner. However, strangely enough, many of the co-workers around Apostle Paul stopped him from going to Jerusalem. They were not people without faith, but people who prayed a lot and helped Apostle Paul a lot.
