Bible passage: Genesis 1:6-8
“[6] Then God said, "Let there be an expanse in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters." [7] God made the expanse, and separated the waters which were below the expanse from the waters which were above the expanse; and it was so. [8] God called the expanse heaven. And there was evening and there was morning, a second day. ”
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ.
This is 26th Lecture on Genesis. In the last lecture, I explained about the works on the 1st day of Creation. I will now talk about the 2nd day. There were no humans who watched the process of God's work of creation. So then, how could Moses, the recorder of Genesis, have known all these processes of Creation? He was able to know about the processes because God personally told Moses about it.
God was with Moses, and showed the evidences that God is alive. For example if you think about the ten signs of the Ten Plagues that God manifested before Pharaoh through Moses, you can understand that God was with Moses. Exodus 7:1 says, "Then the LORD said to Moses, "See, I make you as God to Pharaoh."" Like this, there is firm evidence that God was with Moses, and because of this we can believe that this record in Genesis that Moses recorded is the word of God, and that it is true. In the same way that God was with Moses, He is also with this church today, and He has manifested countless sings and wonders.
Furthermore, He interpreted this Genesis Lecture in the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Therefore, I urge you to believe that every word in this Lecture on Genesis is true. Through this Genesis Lecture, may things that haven't been explained through science will be explained. There will also be things mentioned that conflict with existing scientific theory and with the common sense of the world. Even so, I urge you to believe that this Genesis Lecture is true. We have many signs and wonders that prove this Lecture.
